This privacy policy (the "Policy") details how we store and use your personal data in connection with our website located at www.dodrive.uk (the "Website") and services provided on www.dodrive.uk (the "Services").
DoDrive® Driving School aims to comply with all applicable data protection laws when processing your personal information. These laws are in place to safeguard your personal information and include measures covering data security, your rights regarding your personal data, and the use and disclosure of your data.

Data collection
When contacting us using forms on our website or via phone, you will be asked to submit personal data about yourself (e.g. name, postcode, phone number and email address etc) in order to receive further communications. These communications include; personalised advice on goods or services, newsletters, competitions and live chats.
We will require additional personal data in order to supply courses of driving lessons, gift vouchers and driving school merchandise (e.g. full name, full address, experience, disabilities, theory and licence details etc).
When we collect personal data via our website forms, this is done over an encrypted Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) connection. If you communicate with us by email over the open internet, you should be aware that the nature of the internet is such that, unencrypted communications may not be secure and may pass through several different servers and countries on route to us.
Any personal data you submit will be stored with us for the purpose of processing any request and for follow-up questions up to six months. We treat this data confidentially and we never pass it on to third parties.
If we book a driving test for you through our driving test booking system, unless you request otherwise, your driving test report may be sent to us via email and forwarded to you upon receipt. This will only happen if the driving test examiner uses a digital version of the DL25 driving test report on an iPad, rather than the traditional paper version.
Any payment requests by DoDrive® Driving School are done via an encrypted Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) link. DoDrive® Driving School does not store any customer bank or credit/debit card details online or offline.
Please do not email us with confidential or sensitive information such as your bank or credit/debit card details. We do not accept responsibility for unauthorised access to your information that is outside of our control.
Data retention
DoDrive® Driving School will retain your personal data for as long as needed to provide you with the goods and services as descibed on our website. Some personal data may be retained indefinitely in order to provide future goods and services (i.e. so that we can quickly identify returning customers, instructors or trainers).
By law we have to keep basic information about our customers such as contact identity, financial and transaction data for at least 7 years after they cease being customers for tax purposes.
Data sharing
DoDrive® Driving School do not share your personal data with any 3rd parties, with the exception of sharing your personal data with the allocated driving instructor(s) or driving instructor trainer(s) so that they can provide you with the service(s) purchased via our website. Unless requested in accordance with the law.
We do not discuss your progress with any other party, except for normal consultation within the establishment. Where driving lessons or driving instructor training are being paid for by another person or company, the third party shall have the right to this information, providing this is given with your knowledge.
When you pass the practical driving test or Approved Driving Instructor (ADI) exams, DoDrive® Driving School or your allocated driving instructor(s) or driving instructor trainer(s) may ask you for a photograph and/or video review/testimonial and/or written review/testimonial. By you agreeing to this, you are giving DoDrive® Driving School permission to use it on our website and elsewhere online or offline as promotional material.
Data security
DoDrive® Driving School has implemented stringent security policies to protect your personal data from loss, misuse and alteration.
Our multi-layered security policy uses government and industry standard practices such as; Secure Sockets Layer (SSL), Security Headers, Secure File Wiping, Encrypted Storage, Firewalls, Malware and Password Protection Systems.
Each of our employees is aware of our stringent security policies. Your personal data is only available to those employees who need it to perform their jobs and provide you with the goods and services as described on our website.

Data breach
Should we become aware of a data breach. We will notify our staff, customers, instructors or trainers of any data breach that affected their personal data within 72 hours of our awareness of such breach.
If the data breach involves bank or credit/debit card details; affected staff, customers, instructors or trainers will be notified immediately of our awareness of such breach.
Note: DoDrive® Driving School does not store any bank or credit/debit card details online or offline.
Data queries, amendments & deletion
If you have any queries about your personal data, would like amendments of your personal data, or would like us to securely delete your personal data, please contact us. We will deal with it promptly and in any case within 28 days from the date of receiving the personal data query, amendment or deletion request. (Proof of identity may be required).
